THE RESEARCH BEHIND THE ROOMS

A live room. An honest invitation.

Research reviewed on November 6, 2026. Alleluia covers Christian worship and prayer in English, French and Spanish. It distinguishes a live room from an always-on playlist, and a published timetable from an actual broadcast. Availability changes; use the live checks on the home page for the latest status.

The first five rooms

The original researched rooms. Later additions follow below.

MinistryWhat the official source establishesLocal time zone
IHOPKC ↗The Global Prayer Room is staffed continuously with worship and prayer. The supplied video, 0uaZ30NEHLU, is embedded on this official page. This is the primary overnight room.America/Chicago
The Prayer Room ↗The homepage publishes daily worship from 5 am to 11 pm and links its official livestream channel. Older pages show different hours; the homepage takes precedence. This describes the room’s regular hours, not a guarantee of continuous streaming.America/Chicago
UPPERROOM ↗The prayer-room page lists streaming hours, but the reset notice announces a livestream pause starting March 2. No unqualified future times are generated until this conflict is resolved. Actual live detection still operates.America/Chicago
Orlando House of Prayer ↗The official page says its live prayer watches are streamed and links OHOPMissionsBase on YouTube. A complex watch timetable is left on the provider’s page rather than reproduced with uncertain times.America/New_York
Jesus Image ↗The official services page publishes Sunday gatherings at 10 am and 6 pm in Orlando. These include worship and teaching. Only the published start time is used; no ending time is invented.America/New_York

Eight more communities around the world

These eight additions offer whole services with worship and teaching. A published online destination is a candidate for checking, not proof that it is currently live.

Do we cover every English-language stream?

No. The directory is curated and growing. Churches publish across different platforms, change channels, stream irregularly, and may not offer public video at all. There is no exhaustive shared registry of worship streams. We only include channels with a verified official ministry link and an English-language audience, and only show them in the live row when current metadata confirms a broadcast.

Mixed-language City Harvest Singapore was held back until a separate English route can be verified. Life Church Christchurch was also held back because its online wording did not establish a live-performed gathering. Recorded worship loops and hosted replays are not intentionally included as live worship.

How “Live now” is decided

One background sweep runs at most once a minute for the whole site, however many people are visiting. It reads the public RSS feeds of a rotating set of channels to discover new broadcasts, briefly checks a few channels’ live pages to find long-running streams, and then confirms every candidate with YouTube’s official Data API. A room is live only when the API reports a broadcast that has started and not ended, on the researched channel ID. A title containing “LIVE”, an old recording, a schedule or a playlist is never treated as proof.

Every visitor reads the same snapshot. A badge expires after three minutes if no fresh snapshot arrives, and the room shows as unconfirmed. No stream extraction, downloading, rehosting or ad interception is used.

Rhythms learned from real broadcasts

Most ministries don’t publish machine-readable streaming times. Alleluia records the start and end of every broadcast it confirms, together with each channel’s recent broadcasts, and learns each room’s usual times in its own time zone. A time counts only after it repeats on different dates. These learned rhythms power “Coming up”, “Next live” and the weekly coverage map, which shows the hours when no room is expected live. That is where new suggestions help most.

Checks establish a currently broadcasting video from an English-language provider, not an independent audit of what is being sung at every moment. A ministry may include spoken prayer, teaching, silence, or an occasional song in another language. Video feeds can be delayed, interrupted, or restricted by location. If a player fails, follow the official provider link.

Three languages, day and night

The directory now follows 215 researched ministries: the thirteen rooms above, plus English, French and Spanish ministries whose official websites identify their YouTube channel and show recurring live broadcasts. The evidence for each is kept in the project’s research files. Rooms are labelled as prayer rooms or services from their published category and from how long they actually stream. IHOPKC is the researched round-the-clock room. French and Spanish don’t yet have a verified continuous room, and the coverage map shows those gaps honestly. Alleluia cannot guarantee a third-party stream’s uptime.

Dates and times use your device’s IANA time zone, with an optional choice saved locally in your browser. Each ministry’s timetable is first interpreted in its own time zone, then shown in yours. This accounts for daylight saving changes happening on different dates in different countries. Calendar files use UTC instants.

The ad-free question

Alleluia contains no advertising. The included ministries’ verified public playback routes currently use YouTube. Its official player can show ads, including in privacy-enhanced mode; “nocookie” does not mean “no ads.” Google’s developer policy guide prohibits blocking or altering player ads. Alleluia does not claim ad-free YouTube playback.

The path to reliably ad-free video is an authorized direct player or feed supplied by the ministry. No verified public, English-only, round-the-clock live worship video alternative meeting those conditions was found in this review. Provider permission and a usable direct feed would allow a future ad-free option.

Other options researched

OptionWhy it isn’t a live room here
Latreia ↗Advertises an ad-free worship experience, while explaining that its current streams use recorded worship pending live partners. Not equivalent to musicians worshipping live.
ICF Worship Radio ↗Ad-free curated worship audio. Not live worship video; English-only programming was not established.
GOD TV ↗Has regional live television. Includes mixed programming; not a verified worship-only live room.
Bethel Online ↗An official viewing destination. A public authorized direct player suitable for this directory was not verified.
David’s Tent DC ↗Continuous worship in the room does not by itself establish an available 24/7 online video. A dependable current embed was not verified.

Community suggestions and review

The suggestion form saves a private moderation record with the ministry name, submitted links, stream type, notes, and optional contact email. It does not publish channels automatically or subscribe anyone to email. We review the official ministry identity, English-language content, live worship and public playback before adding an approved source. Once included in the directory, it joins the regular live checks. There is no public inbox or automatic approval endpoint.

Official viewing destinations

Alleluia is an independent directory and does not represent or endorse a ministry’s leadership or every teaching. Ministry names and video previews belong to their respective owners. No accounts are required. A confirmed live room loads the external YouTube player with muted autoplay, and Google’s privacy practices then apply. Browsers may require a tap to start. Alleluia counts anonymous, cookie-free usage events, such as time to reach worship and minutes listened, without IP addresses or user identifiers.
